Privacy notice
This notice covers what this website does with the information you send us. It does not cover the Chrysalis product itself, which is governed by the agreements we put in place with each customer.
Who we are
Chrysalis AI is operated by Impending Tech Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 14993014. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller, reference ZC239982. Contact: hello@getmothy.ai.
What we collect
When you apply for a founding place: your name, work email, organisation, sector and role, and your phone number and message if you give them.
When you ask for a scorecard read-out: your answers to the questions, and the name, work email and organisation you give us. We email that address a link to confirm it is yours. Nothing is stored until you click it, and if you never do, we keep nothing.
When you email us: your email address and what you write.
Everything you send us is stored in our own Microsoft 365 tenant, visible only to the Chrysalis AI team. We do not sell it or pass it to anyone else, and it is never sent to an AI service.
Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
We use founding place applications and emails to reply to you. Our lawful basis for that is legitimate interest under UK GDPR.
We send your scorecard read-out and occasional Chrysalis AI updates because you ticked the box asking for them. Our lawful basis for that is your consent. Each read-out and update email has a link that withdraws it in one click.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up.
We keep a confirmed scorecard sign-up until you unsubscribe or ask us to erase it. When you unsubscribe we keep a note that you did, so that we can show when you gave consent and when you withdrew it, and so that we do not email you again.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from anyone else unless you agree to analytics first. Fonts, images and styles are served from this site, so visiting it does not hand your IP address to a third party before you have read a word.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. It is off until you say yes on the banner. If you say no, or ignore the banner, nothing is requested from Google at all and no analytics cookie is set. If you say yes, Google Analytics sets its own cookies in your browser and receives your IP address, which it uses to give an approximate location and then discards. We have turned off advertising and personalisation features, so the data is not used to target ads.
You can change your mind at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. You can object to our using it on the basis of legitimate interest, and ask us to restrict how we use it while a question about it is settled. For anything you gave us with consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time and ask for a copy in a common format. Email hello@getmothy.ai for any of these.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
